Preparing the Dish
- Place plant-based chicken into the crockpot in a single layer.
- In a bowl, whisk together cream-style soup, onion soup mix, and vegetable broth until smooth.
- Pour gravy mixture evenly over the plant-based chicken.
- Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
- Once tender, shred or break apart the plant-based chicken directly in the gravy.
- Stir well to coat evenly in thick savory gravy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For deeper flavor, sauté plant-based chicken first. Do not overcook to prevent dryness. Optional additions include mushrooms for richer gravy taste and a splash of plant-based cream for extra richness.
