Preparation
- Press tofu for at least 15 minutes and cut into 1-inch cubes.
- Toss tofu with cornstarch until evenly coated.
Cooking
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add tofu in a single layer and cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, rice vinegar, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Reduce heat to medium and pour honey garlic soy sesame sauce over tofu.
- Cook 1–2 minutes, stirring gently, until sauce thickens and fully coats tofu.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container up to 4 days. Reheat in skillet to maintain crispy texture. Ideal paired with jasmine rice or as part of a Buddha bowl.
